The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set April 11, 2023, to open nominations for the persons interested in contesting for the Kumawu seat in the Ashanti Region.
Nomination forms according to the party will be made available at the party’s constituency office.
The statement from the Party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua said nominations will be closed on April 14 for elections to take place on April 23, 2023.
The Kumawu seat became vacant after the sitting Member of Parliament, Philip Basoah died on March 28.
