Akufo-Addo, Bawumia gov’t using state power to favour small clique – NDC Vice Presidential candidate

The Running Mate of John Dramani Mahama, the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, stood tall and resolute as she addressed the crowd gathered at the University of Professional Studies Accra during her official introduction.

In a voice filled with determination, Professor Opoku-Agyemang accused the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia led government of using state power to favor a small clique instead of the broader interests of all Ghanaians. She highlighted the complaints and stories she had heard across different sectors of society about state capture under the current government.

“What is that?” she questioned, her eyes blazing with passion. She made it clear that the next NDC administration would not tolerate such misuse of power. With John by her side, she promised that those who had participated in the plunder of the state would be held accountable.

“This is not a threat; it is a promise,” she declared, her words ringing out with conviction. The crowd erupted into cheers, energized by her bold stance against corruption and injustice. As she looked out at the sea of faces before her, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang embodied the hope and determination of a new era in Ghanaian politics.
